UNT Baroque Orchestra Concert

Last week the UNT Baroque Orchestra performed a wide selection of seasonal music from the Middle Ages to the high Baroque era.  The concert was absolutely amazing!  In addition to the Baroque Orchestra and the choir, there were sackbut and brass ensembles, viol ensembles, and even a vielle/harp/recorder//voice quartet.  Those who missed it are unfortunate.  However, UNT has posted a recent one and a half hour concert.  Enjoy!

Update: they posted Vivaldi’s Gloria from the concert I attended. I hope they post the rest.

An Evening of Mongolian Entertainment

Pop a bottle of wine, clear an half of an hour from distraction, and join me on a wonderful feast for the eyes and ears: a two-part tour of Mongolian folk music.

Instead of embedding all of the videos in one, long page, I decided to use a YouTube playlist.  This should make it much easier to sit back and enjoy the music, especially if you are watching this on a TV.
